What we collect

The lyrics tool does not ask you to sign in. To enforce five free generations a day we store a hash of your IP address and a hash of a first-party cookie, with a count for the current day. If you contact us, we store the email and message you send. If a writing service is connected, the topic, style, mood, and length you submit are sent to that service to write the verse.

How we use it

We use the quota record only to count daily generations. We use contact messages only to reply. We do not sell personal data, and we do not require an account to write lyrics.

Storage and retention

Quota rows are keyed by a hash, not by your name. Contact messages are kept so we can answer them. Lyrics are returned in the response and are not stored as an account history, because there is no account.

Safety checks

Public forms may be protected by a bot-detection service that processes IP address and browser signals. Do not submit topics that target a real private person.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses a few cookies and similar browser storage that it needs to work, such as your sign-in session and your light or dark theme preference.

We also set a first-party cookie (vt_attr, kept for 90 days) that records how you first and most recently reached us, such as a referring website or campaign link. We use it only to see which channels lead to sign-ups and purchases, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

If you open a friend’s invite link, we set a cookie (vt_ref, kept for up to 30 days and removed once you sign up) so the invite can be credited. To prevent abuse of invite rewards, we store a salted hash of your IP address with the invite, not the address itself. Neither of you can see the other’s account details.

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Service providers

We rely on cloud hosting. When a writing service is connected, it writes the lyrics for that request.

Children

Repromit is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Email support@repromit.com if you believe a child has given us personal data.

Your rights

For a privacy request, email support@repromit.com. There is no account page because the writer does not require sign-in.
